Ten Quirks about Jason Gideon
Dec. 13th, 2010 12:29 am1. In college, he was considered one of the most promising artists of his generation with his paintings selling for several hundred dollars. He kept painting even after he joined the FBI although none under his name; he stopped when a picture inspired by a murder scene sold at auction for 14k. It’s one of Gideon’s greatest regrets.
2. An essential part of his go-bag is a bird-watching book of the region he’s traveling to.
3. In crossword puzzles, he never follows the clues. Instead, he tries to exercise his mind by finding words that fit anyways.
4. He does genuinely and sincerely enjoy listening to people talk. It doesn’t matter if it is Reid’s lecturing on the accuracies of the Star Trek engines, or a homeless person telling him about the Illuminati conspiracy. He loves people and when he felt himself losing that; it was time to quit.
5. He rarely if ever forgets a face but he usually forgets where he put his keys.
6. His final at Quantico was always something along the lines of having one of his profilers come to his class, speaking for twenty minutes; and then asking the students to tell him what was in their pockets.
7. His cell phone, phonebook and most of his personal papers make no reference to his son, Whitney or Des. People who really mean something to him are usually buried as far as he can dig the hole.

Nov. 16th, 2010 03:47 amGideon poured himself a Whiskey as he waited for Bruce. He knew better then to think Wayne would arrive in a timely fashion, so he took the silence as a chance to run over what he and Morgan had discovered. He agreed with Morgan’s preliminary findings about the stalker, and had shared- carefully- bits and pieces of what Wayne had supplied him about Debra Carey.
Morgan knew he was withholding information. It’s why he informed Gideon that Wayne would be sitting down for interview. Gideon had said nothing apart from he’d tell Bruce to cooperate.
Both of them knew he was lying, and neither of them really knew why.
That needling in the back of Gideon’s mind was getting worst- although he disagreed with the unspoken thought that was never far from any conversation with the BAU. Was he guilty? he'd yet to come up with a suitable reason apart from the first question, Gideon always asked himself about an unsub…the one he hadn’t asked about Nathan Tubbs- was he too easy?
It was little to go on, even for Gideon- so instead of dwelling on why exactly he was so adamant Bruce was innocent- he focused on keeping him out of jail. Opening the file of the coroner’s report for Alexis Munro, Gideon took another drink and prepared himself for whatever questions Bruce would have for him. Another gut instinct he had without knowing why...Bruce would want to know what she went through...
He already knew the why.

She's anywhere from 20 to 30 years old. Well kept, at least before she was taken. The head shows no injuries outside of the wound that severed the head. It's a ragged cut- I can't tell if she was alive when...
I've already contacted the police department, I'll be heading to the morgue with them to examine the parts as they come in.
...and no there wasn't a baseball card this time.
